In 1981, Fike Bros Carpet Installation provided installation services for various retailers and general contractors.  Later in 1985, the company started retailing various floorings from their showroom in McClure.  Five years later in 1990, the business exceeded its space and moved to Yeagertown.  The brothers completed renovations to the showroom by adding a 9,000 square foot warehouse in 1996 to allow for them to maintain in-stock inventory. 

     Fike Bros Carpet Installation was asked to join America's premiere floor covering cooperative, Carpet One in 1997, and thus became Fike Bros Carpet One Floor & Home.  By joining Carpet One, the company was able to offer their customers; better selection, better prices, and extended warranties.  This move proved to be beneficial to their customers by providing nation corporation services and yet still be locally owned.

     In March of 2003, Fike Bros Carpet One Floor & Home opened an additional showroom in Selinsgrove.  They remodeled the previous Felker Tile and Carpet showroom to its current day design.  This allowed for a more pleasant customer shopping experience.  Customers enjoy the updated showroom that boasts a wide selection of the latest styles and colors of all types of flooring in its comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.
